Entry St Louis Living Green Showhouse 2008
Featured in St Louis Home and Lifestyle Magazine
For the entry of the Living Green Showhouse I wanted to show that "green" can also be sophisticated. A bit of glam along with natural products and renewed furniture help to create the beautiful style of the home's entry.
Guest Bedroom Featured in Better Homes and Garden Special Publication Bedrooms and Baths Spring 2004
I designed this bedroom for the 2002 St Louis Symphony Showhouse. The dormer windows, angled ceiling and the worn wood floor are all a part of the charm of the bedroom. A painted bed, embroidered organdy fabric at the windows and a vintage glass chandelier further enhance the charm of the room. A color scheme of deep red, gray-blue, light green and off white help to create a feeling of comfort and seclusion. The sofa and the upholstered chair are vintage pieces that have been renewed. The display cabinet is a reclaimed piece that has been restructured and painted. The floral print on the window treatment fabric is part of the China Rose Collection from Designers Guild.
Updatd Kitchen Central West End St Louis Mo
Updating is an important area of interior design. The kitchen already had cherry wood cabinets and new granite counters but it needed more. One of the design aspects the update needed to accomplish was to bring the old and new materials in the kitchen together. Using the same pattern for the wallcovering and the fabric helped to unify the various elements in the room.
