Muriel Eulich Water Colorist Extraordinaire

Muriel Eulich is a water colorist whose work is vibrant and joyous. Her paintings are truly glorious, vibrant figures in motion. The inspiration for Muriel's work comes from her life. Her family, her travels, how she observes the world around her, her great sense of humor all inspire her creativity and influence her work.

Muriel Eulich Water Colorist Extraordinaire

Muriel's current series, figures of women wearing pearls, is nothing short of fabulous. The paintings are layers of bold color, shapes, pattern and movement.

Yes, she often works in her kitchen. The island is the perfect space to layout the oversized paintings.

Muriel's love of life is very obvious in her paintings. She captures the essence of the human spirit and shares it with the world. You can see more of Muriel's work at http://www.murielwatercolor.com/.

A Fashionable Bedroom

This is a bedroom I designed. It was for a single woman, a bit of a fashionista. We had a great time putting it all together, this very girl of a bedroom. The duvet is made of a chandelier printed fabric, one of my favorites. I found a vintage chandelier that was identical to the printed chandelier. What a great find.

The wood furniture is painted a creamy white. The Venetian mirror adds detail and is a beautiful contrast to the painted furniture.

The chair is vintage, recovered in a Barbara Barry fabric. The window treatment is a silky cream colored velvet. The walls are a soft lavender. All together it creates a beautiful bedroom setting for a busy fashionista.

Window Shopping In Paris

My friend Wendy recently spent some time in Paris. While she was there she went window shopping.

Window Shopping In Paris

The trim on this chair makes it a dream come true. I also love the red and teal combination.

The palette of shades of lavender, silver and white create a serene and peaceful display.

These neutrals are so very Paris to me. Love the chandeliers.

Window Shopping In Paris

Pierre Frey fabrics are among the most beautifully made anywhere. The color palette of crisp white, clear pink and fresh green makes a welcoming spring display.

The striking color of this dress is so rich and exciting. The drape of the fabric is sensual and feminine.

All of these window displays are charming, delightful and so well put together. Leave a comment and tell me which is your favorite.
