In the setting shown there is a great mix of styles, colors,textures and even periods.The mix of classic French with modern gives me a sense of how and where Marie Antoinette would live if she were with us today.
I love the combination of the modern clean line sofa with a rich, pink cut velvet fabric. Then, to give even more WOW, the addition of pillows in embroidered silk and a graphic cut velvet.
I also love the look of using two patterns for the window treatment panels. A floral on one and a stripe on the other . Wonderful.
And, of course, the chandelier, the perfect lighting for the already brilliant room.
